Zeta Tau Alpha at Salisbury University has some exciting news! We are always looking for new and creative ways to give back to our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and back to our community. Laura Mrugalski, a recent graduate from Salisbury University, hand crafts beautiful jewelry with her business, Set to Shine, and each month she donates a portion of her proceeds to a good cause. For the month of February, Laura has chosen to donate to our philanthropy that we hold near and dear to our hearts! Please support the cause we care about so much and Laura's good works that she does by checking out her unique jewelry.

" As an environmental student, I constantly learn about the devastation going on in the world, and as a human, I can see the devastation that is happening around us. I always want to help fix these problems but feel so lost in ways I can help. How can one person do anything to make a big enough change? How can I possibly help? For too long I have felt helpless, but I have forgotten that doing something is a whole lot more than doing nothing. For this reason, I want to take steps towards helping be part of the solution rather than the problem.

I have been making jewelry since I was 10 years old, it has been my creative outlet for a long time. I would love to be able to combine something I love doing with helping make a difference. Set to Shine Jewelry is my small way of facilitating the change I want to see in the world. Every month I will be choosing an organization/charity to donate 20 % of my earnings from selling my earrings to. I want to get to the point that I can donate 60% of my earnings to charities each month and I am so excited to get to this point! I dedicate a lot of time, passion, and creativity into each earring to ensure that anyone who buys my earrings will have long lasting and beautiful jewelry. Set to Shine Jewelry is not about making a whole lot of money, it about inspiring and sparking change in the way that I feel I can and shining light on the world; one earring at a time. " - Laura Mrugalski
