Creed Devotional - Leadership

To be a true Zeta Lady, we are called to go beyond our own needs and to think of others. To be a leader in ZTA, we need to lead by example and grow to have the confidence to exert an influence. This fraternity has challenged us all to think outside of our own problems, and to be effective change makers in the issues all around us in the world. When we think how ZTA has grown us into many different types of leaders, a lot of examples come into our minds.

Zeta has given us a multitude of opportunities that we would have not been given the chance to have if we had not joined this fraternity. ZTA sets up yearly conventions for our executive council to attend, including an emerging leaders academy, which was filled with diverse workshops about the type of leading style the sister may have to be able to grow her in her own skin and to be the best she can be. We also hold different workshops inside our chapter to instill these values and expand our minds. In addition to this, being a mentor when receiving a little is the best responsibility. Instilling ZTA's values into a new member is such an amazing experience that teaches one how to hold themselves to a higher standard and how to be a leader by example, even if it is just to one sister. We are also able to be a part of a huge Panhellenic community, which leads us to bring our strengths and abilities to the table.

It is inevitable that growth and change will occur in any Zeta's life after taking that step to proudly wear our letters, and we are so grateful for this journey into becoming stronger, more impactful women.
